The SMU approach: Don't argue. Accept the decision/punishment and move on.

Oh the outrage, the injustice, the drama of enduring a 4th place 17-6 basketball team after the exhilaration of a 5th place football team. Some of you are way way way over the top with your Jank -hate. A decision will be made at the end of the season

Anything short of a total collapse and I think he’s back, but with some new ground rules regarding
scheduling. He’ll get his 20-plus wins, no worse than a mid-conference finish. Maybe he gets lucky and they get an NIT bid.

He’s got the entire team coming back and you can bet he’ll be whining about that the minute the season ends. But that may just help him get the stones to actually schedule a holiday tourney and some legit OOC games.
He’s within a whisker of saving his butt right now.

But I have this idea:

The horns are done with Shaka and I think they will be dialing up Sampson and Marshall. Let’s say the pull the Brinks truck up to Marshall's house. Timing is everything and it just might work. If it does then maybe lil Janky surmises his time is running out here and brings his act to WSU. HE’D BE GREAT THERE (wink wink)

Then maybe we offer Shaka..... maybe we don’t.

It’s all good.

With the possible exception of Tyson Jolley, this SMU team seems to match Coach Jank's (lack of) intensity and it is a huge part of how we let big leads slip away
