This SMU team stinks on the road...period! Prediction: this team is going to lose at Tulsa, at UCF and quite possibly at USF to finish this season on a very low note.

SMU’s performance was an embarrassment. Can we please stop talking about the NCAA tournament? We are not at that level and Jank continues to waste the talent he has available. The conference title is begging to be taken and we insist on having no offensive identity and just heaving up ridiculous amounts of 3s

Give Tulane credit. I think they saw that SMU hits a much higher percentage of threes from the right side and they did a good job of forcing the offense to the left side of the court, where we couldn't hit the wall. Smith IV got s couple of open looks but after hesitating and missing his 1st three, he turned down what was probably the most open look we had all night from the right side.

Tulsa is going to kill us with their match up zone if our guys can't penetrate and dish better than they did tonight

Looking again at the box score, this was just an incredibly sloppy game for both teams. Our guys had 9 assists vs 15 turnovers and even Davis was 2:4 tonight. Tulane had 13 assists but 21 turnovers but they shot lights out in that 2nd half and had 8 steals and 6 blocks as SMU looked totally inept on offense. SMU 6-36 from three tonight...and we were out rebounded as well.

It's tough to win when your coach and team thinks they are better than they are. Tulane and ECU are atrocious teams and we lost to both the same season! The only reason for that is that our team is overconfident. When you miss 20 of your 22 3s try something else! The announcers at one point even said SMU was 6 of 10 on 2 point FGs! It is clear as day to everyone but Jankovich and our players. Only excuse is they are exhausted from carrying their egos 24/7! Brutal loss!

Incredibly inconsistent team but coaching staff was unable to help them solve Tulane's D and it might be even worse at Tulsa Saturday. The few times our guys penetrated the D they either got good looks in the paint or had opportunities to kick it out for good looks but all too often they made bad passes or forced things resulting in turnovers and blocked shots. Just a really, really ugly game tonight and one in which our team never showed any poise.
