Good defensive 1st half. Didn't give WSU many good looks but I don't expect our guys to sustain that kind of effort for 40 minutes. Only down side was pressure D allowed WSU to beat us to too many boards. Good thing they shot poorly because they got way too many 2nd and 3rd chances

Very few fouls called in that 1st half; no SMU player with more than 1 foul so we are in god shape to continue pressure D in 2nd half. You know WSU is going to eventually find the range and start knocking down threes. 19 of their 31 shots were threes compared to SMU with 14 of 27 shots from deep
