5 Turnovers
5 Fouls
3 missed Free Throws
4 Possessions with 0:00 off the clock: 2 Turnovers, 1 Foul and 1 offensive rebound w/o holding ball
1 USF Possession with :08 Seconds off clock (SMU Foul)

1 USF Possession with :19 seconds off clock (SMU Foul)

These guys played the last minute with their heads up their [deleted]. Don't foul a bad offensive team with a big lead

Is there anyone who doesn't believe this "tendency" is on Jank?

Yeah were beating a Dead Horse Janks's not the guy but it's on the players too.

Believe it or not I'm optimistic about the tournament

One of the turnovers was an inbound pass that hit the scoreboard over the center of the court.

Special recognition:

Mike hitting a scoreboard trying a full court pass(that scoreboard is not that low after rewatching)

Chargois with Intentional Foul awarding foul shots and possession

The players don't deserve a pass from this implosion

I agree it's not entirely on Jank. The best FT shooting team in the AAC hits 15-28 and that was a big part of blowing the lead. The players choked, no question about it but I have to believe they are not very well prepared when they can't get the ball in bounds as often as that comes up in late game situations.

We have a boneheaded collection of players. That's why I won't miss anyone who transfers at the end of the season.

This was such a year that could have been. We should have been 14-4 in conference and tied for first place. So disappointing.

Yet the irony is did we not end up about where we were predicted preseason?

Wasn’t it eighth or ninth? And wasnt the “fire Jank” crowd at the time considerably smaller, composed largely of reseat victims and those livid with the weak OOC?
It wasn’t until the team actually played the conference schedule that it became irrefutable that there were serious problems. Apparent that despite some very real talent something was just not right.

We may be who they thought we were but we are also not who we should be. You are damn right this thing was winnable. And it’s disgusting how the excuses keep coming and the accountability is nowhere to be found.

I wasn’t a card carrying Fire Jank guy until the wheels were already in the ditch but how can anyone deny that we have now under-achieved in a spectacular way.

In golf they like to say “It ain’t how, it’s how many.”

In this case it’s simply HOW.

WE NEED A NEW COACH. FAST.

So I take it no one's excited about Thursday nights game? Haha I'll be there.

We actually finished higher (7th place) than preseason polls projected, but keep in mind that Tulsa was projected to finish 2 spots behind us in 10th place! Last year they were ready to run Frank Haith off. This year I'm sure he'll get a lot of votes for coach of the year

If SMU had tied for the conference championship, most of us would be in favor of Jankovich getting another season with the addition of McNeill. Of course, that would have involved simply not collapsing at the end of several games.
