Perkins Gym has no AC and it has Hot, Hot, Hot.

Played with/against all of those guys. Rick Billik was on my frosh floor (McIntosh 2) and Rusty Bourquein and Mike Hanks were on my frosh floor when I was a Soph Adviser. Yes, we did sweat off a few pounds in that old gym. I remember playing some half court games in Moody as a Soph, too

All of the players ponyboy mentioned were a fun group to watch.

I really should have mentioned Tim Mason as well

Going back to my student days I remember when one of my favorite all-time Mustangs Stephen Woods hit a 3 to beat Harvard by 1. Had to be sometime between 96-98. I was one of the 1500 at Moody who went crazy.

I played in that "Women's" gym back when I was there. I remember going in for a layup and out of nowhere Ruben Triplett stuffed me.

Best SMU game
- at Moody vs Tech in Nov '01 with Bobby Knight the tech coach. Kind of surprised the entire student section was thrown out.

Best overall game
- Saw the Bryce Drew shot when he was with Valpo in the NCAA tournament to beat Ole Miss.

We may have been there at about the same time...and may have even been playing on the same team that day, although I remember being rejected (probably a couple of years earlier) by Clayton Korver. I was always on a "one and done" team that would have to regroup with different guys and wait a while to get a 2nd game. I think Rick Billik was the one who introduced me to those games.
