At least there are no automatic qualifiers so we still stand a chance at an at-large bid.

Interesting.

Maybe this can be our tournament like the Frisco Bowl is our bowl.

Hopefully our guys will be able to play in the AAC Tourney and just can't afford to lay an egg but after taking more than a month off...who knows what this team will look like?

With the number of games played I think that they have to win the conference tourney to have enough games to qualigy.

With the number of games cancelled/postponed, I still want to see if we can field a team in the AAC.
If healthy (enough), I still assume we make the NIT, since organizers want to limit travel and we're local.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I want to see this team keep playing. Especially Davis.

This would be a good season for a CIT/CBI appearance to get the program (coaches and younger players) some postseason experience since it has been a while since we have been in a tournament.

Too bad they are canceled this season.

It's going to be a long day worrying about the NIT bid!

I'm not optimistic. If Cincy wins the auto bid from the AAC today, that might soften the blow of having lost to them twice, but would also probably mean that Wichita State and Memphis go NIT before SMU. I don't see the 5th best team in the AAC getting in to a reduced NIT field.

NIT downsized, and automatic bids gobbled up by the likes of Georgetown make fewer at-large NCAA bids, meaning other decent teams drop into NIT contention. Feeling less confident, but still hopeful.
