Following in Darius McNeill's footsteps, Charles Smith IV has now entered the transfer portal per Billy Embody's tweet. If Jankovich has lost the team it really is time to move on.

That really sucks. He is a bigger loss than McNeill. Big guard who can really shoot the ball.

Yes, but given that Tyson Jolly, Ethan Chargois, and Isiah Jasey are seniors we really needed to have Charles Smith IV and Darius McNeill back and have them step up to fill some of the void. Now we could be facing a situation where KD and Hunt go pro and at that point Anei would probably transfer. We'd be left with Bandoumel and a pair of freshmen. This could really be disastrous.

Again, lots of musical chairs coming up - the most in history.

And Cinci has lost 6 including the entire freshman class. All the new rules for this year make this a really bizarre situation.

Next season we will all know what it's like to be Kentucky every year with all new players.

How cool would it be to get three or four four-star types to come home to play with Kendrick?

Players are going to be moving all over the country. It's hardly limited to SMU and A&M and Texas. That will be the case coast to coast.

What makes you think Anei will transfer?

Smith leaving could be a big loss. In limited minutes, I liked a lot of what I saw from him and thought he might be someone who could really step up next year. He might become a big time scorer for someone.

What makes you think Anei will transfer?

Anei left Oklahoma State because of the forthcoming sanctions which they ultimately put off another year. If he left OSU because the expectation was they would be ineligible for the NCAA tournament, why would he stick around on a depleted roster with no prospects of making the NCAA tournament?
