Do you know who had the top class AAC class? Memphis or Houston?

It is kind of interesting that the Mr. Basketball in Texas only rated a 3*

ESPN has him as a four star.

I think he’ll develop into a fine player. But just the transfers of Nutall and Clark have me giddy.

Phelps is ready day 1. He is a Shake level talent. If Jank wasn’t coaching him you wouldn’t be able to contain my excitement. I hope Jank gets out of his way and let’s him play kind of like he did with LB’s roster in 2017. For whatever reason Phelps chose SMU. Be very glad he did because you’ll see why soon.

Typical star deflation in my opinion. I am sure he would be a 4* if he committed to Texas or Oklahoma.

There are alternative facts when it comes to schools like SMU.

Phelps is going to be awesome!!

Speaks to either the accuracy of the stars system or the level of high school basketball in Texas vs. other states or both.
Whatever the reason, I can't wait to see him play in Moody.

The recruiting sites serve their purpose, but they are pretty inept in regards to many prospects especially in basketball. Their corruption is pretty well documented too.

Aren't they all pretty much run by the AAU?

Love it. Can just imagine both Phelps and Davis on the court together. Two PGs coming at you with the ability to score or dish. Could add another wrinkle to this offense. I seem to recall an NBA team that used a double PG approach at times

That would be incredible.

We should make sure they wear similar numbers to create more potential confusion for the opponents as well!

The Phoenix Suns did it in 1996-97 with Kevin Johnson, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash.

Jason Kidd and Jason Terry were a pretty strong duo for the Mavericks 10 years ago
