The door is open for SMU to be one of the top teams in the AAC. Every road win is important as every team in this league can be tough on it's home court

It will be really interesting to see how they handle NET with Covid. Memphis was missing 3 starters from Covid. Was Tulane missing any? If not, do you really count it as a Quad 4 loss? What if they were only missing one player? Or two? Or do you just treat it as an injury and count it as you normally would?

UCF (our next opponent) beat Michigan tonight 85-71. Their record is 9-2.

Memphis bounced back strong and is cruising to an easy win at Wichita State which is just not something you see very often. I'm reminded of SMU's road win at Wichita years ago when Shake was on fire and was hitting shots from everywhere on the floor

Let's hope so. UCF looked really good against Michigan and their guards Green and Mahan just went off hitting a combined 18-23 FGs including 12-16 threes. Hopefully they don't come in and shoot lights out in Moody. Before that Michigan game, Mahan was averaging 8.8 pts and hitting just a little better than 33% of his FGs and was only about 25% on threes. He had 26 points on 8-10 FGs including 5-7 threes

Tulane takes down Cinci up here. Tulane didn't play that great but uc went 5-20 from three land and missed a ton of free throws and lost by 8 after being down by 23 at half.

After a 3 week hiatus because of Covid, Tulane has really come on strong. We get them twice so will be interesting to see what teams rise to the top of the AAC. Our guys have an opportunity tomorrow to show they might be a contender

Ethan Chargois pulled down 9 boards in only 18 minutes for OU in their win vs KSU yesterday. He added 4 assists but went scoreless on 0-3 FGs including 0-2 from three

Your Anei had 7 boards in 18 minutes in DePaul's loss. He scored 4 points on 2-4 FGs and missed his only FT attempt

I like Clark more than either of these guys, but sure wish we had more big man depth. Hope Jasey is back for UCF today

They wouldn't fit.

Right now you have a rotation, where you have an inside physical defensive presence role, and a scoring role. defense is Jasey with Frank as a backup, and the scoring is Clark with Young as a backup.

Anai is a wildcard. He blocks shots, but is out of position a ton. He is a weird fit on the offensive side. So he doesn't fit either role. Ethan is more of the scoring option, but he doesn't stay in the paint he wants to be on the perimeter.

I think both of them would not do well in the rotation. And both of them would be fighting for the third spot in the rotation, one getting a couple minutes per game while the other gets nothing. You sit those guys on the bench, and the team chemistry takes a huge hit. So I think we are better off with them not there, honestly.

Just to add, you could use Ethan at the 4, but then you are taking away time from Jalen, who is a much better defensive player and better shooter, and you take time away from Todorovich, who I would much rather have shooting threes than Ethan.
