Sure hope he is all the way back. He was fantastic. Made simple smart plays, rebounded well and played solid defense.

A small sample size, obviously, and yes it was McNeese, but he was really impressive.

Jank talked about the strategy surrounding Clark and how they want to take it slow.

He said he is only participating in 30-40% of the practice reps and that they will monitor how he feels today after playing his 16 minutes last night.

He said the last thing they want is to over do it and have him have to sit out a week to 10 days to rest the knee. He felt is was much better to limit his minutes and practice so he could be available all year, and hopefully work his way up to being able to log more minutes with no extra rest needed.

Sounds reasonable and the right approach.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

Clark had some pretty good competition in their Center, Bacon. I was very impressed with his play.

Clark looks good, a little rusty which should be expected. Thankfully there are plenty of weapons surrounding him, so he doesn't have to do it all. Eager to see how he plays at Oregon.

Oregon brought in a couple of twin towers to go with 2 others already on their roster so they have 4 guys 6'11" or 7' so we will need Jasey, Clark and someone else to step up to be competitive in Eugene

Both he and Jasey had 16/17 minutes last night - Clark 12 points, Jasey 0. We need Clark healthy and more minutes.

They were very effective as a two headed monster in the low post. At one point, I had them with 12 points, 10 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 blocks between them in a shared 30 minutes. I will take that big man production all season long.

With the shooters we have, we don't need Jasey to score. He is a good guy who brings energy to the team. Several steals and good defense inside.
