Quite a few of the pundits are taking notice of SMU including being #31 on the NCAA.com power ranking and being in tourney in the latest version of Bracketology.

We just need to keep winning and we should get a bid.

As the old saying goes, lets not let perfect get in the way of progress. I am not a Jank fan. But I frankly dont give two sheep who coaches if we are enjoying success.

Lets see how we do at cincy but Im starting to get excited about this team. Others are as well it seems.

We have to beat Houston at least once this season to neutralize the Missouri loss. It's that simple.

A road win this week at 10-4 Cincinnati would be big in terms of SMU's resume building

Totally agree with both of you.

We need to beat Houston at least once in the regular season. Hopefully Houston does not implode after their injuries. I wish we could play them now while they are still highly ranked, it may hurt us that we do not play them for the first time until over a month from now, they could very well have a few Ls by then.

First and foremost, however, is getting that Cincy monkey off of our back. Time to beat those guys in their gym and serve notice to the league.

Go Ponies!

We finally made Joe Lunardi's extended bubble. We are still 1 away from making the bubble on the ESPN page. Keep winning and at least split with Houston and Cincinnati!

Don't overlook the fact he currently has us as a one-bid league. Ugh.

Nice run so far, but it gets really tough from here on out. Wichita back to back. Temple twice, ECU once, Houston twice, Cincy again, Tulsa again, and Tulane again. That is a brutal schedule and we need to at least go at least 8-2 and probably 9-1 with a split against Houston to have any chance and then probably still have to get to tourney final.

If we only finish with 3 conference losses, we are in. Maybe even 4 if we are a clear second place in the league. Lots of work to get there. Need to go 3-2 against WSU, Houston, and Cincy and then sweep the rest.

Up to "next four out" in Lunardi today!

Still a one-bid league with Houston a 3.

We have to keep winning. The losses to Missouri and Loyola Marymount are still a curse. Beat Temple, then Wichita State twice, and Houston. Do that and we will be projected in the field of 68.
