Other AAC games

Cincinnati at Memphis went down to the wire but the home team prevailed in the end. It's going to be really tough to win games on the road vs the AAC's better teams and Memphis and Cincy are among them. Begs the question: how good is Tulane after they beat Memphis and won at Cincinnati?

Houston, SMU & ECU are the only AAC teams still undefeated at home

This will be an interesting week and should be a very telling week for SMU hoops. USF appears to be the worst team in the AAC so you would like to think our guys will bounce back strong Wednesday but who knows what to expect against Tulane Saturday.

Tulane beats WSU in Wichita to go to 4-1 in AAC play and 2nd place behind Houston. Huge challenge in New Orleans Saturday. Jalen Cook, the LSU transfer and their leading scorer has been a difference maker for that team

Memphis out to a big lead early at ECU 23-11 looking to hand ECU their 1st home loss of the season. Going to have a huge challenge at Memphis Thursday night

I won't complain if they are shorthanded due to COVID as they have been in several recent contests.

Incredible comeback by ECU to remain undefeated at home. ECU has a shot blocked, gets an offensive board and Suggs hits a buzzer beater for a 72-71 win. Chalk that visit to Greenville up as another really tough road game on our schedule

Losing the way they did will probably have Memphis highly motivated to redeem themselves Thursday night. Not unlike the buzzsaw our guys ran into in Cincinnati

Cincy beats Wichita State this afternoon in Wichita 61-57 in what was a pretty ugly bball game at times. Wish we could have gotten the Cincinnati team I watched today. As the studio crew said: the AAC is currently a one bid league unless someone can take Houston down in the AAC Tourney

Hard to believe that WSU is 0-4 in conference.
