Interesting to hear the contrast in recruiting transfers vs H.S. players and an admission that transfers Usually ask right away about SMU's NIL situation and things like where they are going to be living. Also sounds like Lanier wants to push scheduling quad one opponents, especially with the change that's coming in the AAC. I assume that means this team will have to become road warriors, much like Lanier had to do at Georgia State where quad one games were few and far between

Today's players are more enlightened/empowered and understand this is a business. There are plenty of college students who attend school in hopes of maximizing their earning potential and athletes are certainly no exception.
