We have an exhibition game tonight against Paul Quinn. Does anyone know if/where we can watch this game? Interested to see how different the team looks under Lanier.

I assume it will be pretty easy to get into Moody. Hopefully one or more of the loyalists will attend and provide some information on this forum tonight or tomorrow

Phelps ended up with 29-10-5. He looks and plays a lot like Shake. Going to be a terrific player.

Looks like it was pretty sloppy with 23 turnovers and Phelps had 8 of those! I like the fact that 9 guys played 10 or more minutes but concerned that Foster got only 2 minutes. Really encouraging to see Phelps shooting so well including 3-5 from three but concerned about his 8 turnovers vs only 5 assists. Odigie with 5 boards and 2 steals in his 14 minutes.

It's impossible to know what to take from a game like that, especially since we don't know what Paul Quinn has, and we don't know Lanier's approach to preseason evaluation.

On the other hand, 14 points over that bunch? If Paul Quinn is anything like it normally is, it should have been nowhere near that close. But it's probably safe to say Lanier didn't care about the score, and was just trying different combinations, etc.

I would love to have seen Lanier's halftime message when trailing them, even in an exhibition game.

Yeah tough to tell. Paul Quinn might be better than we thought.

Coach also played as many people as he could. I think that the rotation will tighten up in the next game which will help the turnover situation.

Yeah, word is this was a practice and a rotation test. Coach didn’t want to lose - but was never worried about that. We’ll know more after ETSU.

23 turnovers is a lot against anybody. Really struggled offensively in the first 10 minutes. There are going to be some really ugly games early in the season, I think.

Hopefully their learning curve is very sharp. Excited for the season to start and see what we have..... Size is encouraging

Size difference can really be a factor defensively and in the half court game. Just have to watch improvement as the season wears on. With so many new faces I don't expect much early

When you turn the ball over frequently, the size is at the wrong end of the floor to make a difference.
