SMU did score 1st and Lanier should have called timeout and pulled a Corso. Take a team photo with that 2-0 score in the background and then offer to forfeit the game. Houston will win by 50 plus as this SMU team looks like a deer in headlights and appears to have packed it in already.

I mean, this is the best Houston team in over 30 years and this is the worst SMU team in over 30 years. Totally predictable outcome. How did Vegas get it so wrong?

No surprise tonight other than Houston's ridiculous 28-0 run that put this game away early. Cougs have a far superior team and our guys appear to have acknowledged that really early on in this game. Only question is whether our guys will show some grit and play tough like they did the last several minutes of that 1st half when they actually made Houston appear uncomfortable at times

That 27-11 rebound advantage is just ridiculous and while most of that is due to Houston's superior athletes, our guys showed very little effort at times. Will be interesting to watch in the 2nd half to see who might still have some fight in them
