Tulane's Holloway drives, runs into Odigie and spins out and flips up a wild hook shot ... and it goes.

More weirdness: SMU turnover when Williamson steps out of bounds
That's not weird — it happens
What's weird: with less than 5 minutes, that was SMU's first turnover that wasn't a steal

Todorovic takes a shot in the eye ... and gets called for committing a foul. Still rubbing his eye after timeout.
He and Lanier were none too thrilled with the call

Why did Tulane pull away at the end? Announcers commented that SMU can be salty when they get their top scorer back and praised Todorovixh.
Watched USF and UH game and USF plays very physical. Their PG had 30 points. They’ll be particularly tough in Tampa.

Impossible to overstate how badly coached this team is. No defense at all. Forbes and Cook were undefended the entire game. It was like warm up drills for Tulane.

Great to score 88!
We obviously need to work on the defense a lot though. I imagine with the injuries we haven't been able to have as many five-on-five practices so hopefully the defense will improve a bit as we get healthier.

Yes, the refrain from yesteryear is unpopular ... and true again, unfortunately. Losing Phelps just reinforces how badly we need to sign at least 2 point guards. Doesn't matter if they can make a layup, but they have to be fast, able to dribble against defensive pressure and get the ball to teammates where they can do something with it.
