Great rebounding and assists but Tulane shot 11% better from the field (57% to 46%) and behind the arc (44% to 33%). Tulane also added four points from better free throw shooting. Add the top shooter and it is a winnable game.

Wright, Koulibaly and Lanier combined for 32 minutes, 1-7 shooting, six rebounds, two assists, two steals, one turnover and five fouls.

The number speak for themselves. Very little help off the bench.
Nutall force a lot of shots and a lot of passes that resulted in turnovers. I thought he played poorly - not in effort but in decision makes. When we played with 2 bigs we were not good. When we played with one big we were much better.

Two periods with the two bigs really hurt us - to open the game, and we got off to a really slow start, and then played them again in the second half and Tulane was able to stretch the lead. Not playing that lineup and better transition defense and we win.

This team is really bad defensively when our bigs get pulled out to the perimeter or are too aggressive helping on the screen beyond the 3 point line.

Two positives: Guys are playing better team basketball offensively as evidenced by the number of assists and Todorovic showed us he can be the scorer most expected when he signed with SMU. Love the balanced scoring with 5 guys in double figures

Best game of Todorovic's career.

As Lanier said, Tulane is willing to sacrifice rebounds in order to get upcourt and launch more shots, which makes you wonder if the rebounding edge was a one-off mirage. I guess we'll see Saturday.
