Hop's old school, Lincoln, continues to prove that its one of the most dominate HS bball programs ever in Texas. Lincoln beat Austin Johnson, 64-62, to advance to the 4A state final. They will be going for their 4th state title since 90 and this is their 3rd trip to the 4A semis in the last four years. Why do I mention this? They have become a factory for producing big-time college bball players and our good buddy Jimmy Tubbs is revered over there. And BTW, last week, the Lincoln girls won the 4A state championship after reaching the state finals for the fourth consecutive year.
