The On3 HS basketball player rankings have us in the lead - early though it is - on recruiting two of the top national 100 recruits (#44 & #80) in the class of 2024. https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consens ... ball/2024/

Also has us in the lead recruiting one of the top 50 (#38) in 2025. https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consens ... ball/2025/

Nothing locked in and a ways to go to get there. But, the last two years we've haven't been sniffing interest from players this high, so it can only be a positive sign.

I realize there is a recruiting page on this board, but placed it here since it really is about the state of the basketball program, that we're all watching with extra interest in the early stages of our nascent coaching staff.

I saw that too. Very hopeful sign. Will hopefully calm down some of the naysayers. Really pulling for Lanier to get it done. I think he will, especially when the real NIL money comes.

The #1 Junior recruit (Lake Highlands Tre Johnson) in the nation is playing at Moody tonight against Plano East.

Also a very good Highland Park and Plano matchup at Moody tonight as well.

Three more losses and this disappointing season is over. Hopefully Lanier can bring in some impact players for next season
