Njie hits 2 FTs to get to double figures. Three more guys with 8 points. SMU could have 6 guys score in double figures and still lose this game by double figures

Five guys in double figures and we still lose by more than 20 points. We are now 10-21 on the season and heading into the AAC Tourney ready to break the school record for the most losses in a single season. To be fair, this team has played more games and won 10 while the 2 other teams that lost 21 only won 6 games. FT shooting was much improved today and Mo Njie was a pleasant surprise. Maybe he can become one of those "most improved" guys and help next year? Still need to bring in an impact post player, PG and shooting guard

So we get UCF in the 1st round of the AAC Tourney. Let's see if our guys can compete after getting blown out when they visited Orlando

FINAL: Cincinnati 97, SMU 74

SMU finishes with five double-digit scorers
Phelps: 17
Njie: 14
Odijie: 12
Smith: 10
Williamson: 10

Mustangs finish regular season 10-21 overall, 5-13 in AAC games

Embarrassing season.

Not renewing season tickets next year

Do not see the improvements the other board members are talking about.

It's all about the transfer portal and team chemistry at this point. That's been the only plus to this season, i.e., despite the poor results and lack of talent/experience, this team seems to play hard and the guys all seem to be pulling for each other
