Story LinksDALLAS (SMU) – Eight games in Moody Coliseum, including match-ups with Baylor and Colorado, a road trip to face Louisiana Tech, and the San Diego Classic highlights the 2023-24 SMU women's basketball non-conference schedule.

The third season under Head Coach Toyelle Wilson begins with four home games, starting on Nov. 6 against UC Riverside. SMU will host Alabama State on Nov. 11, followed by a contest against Nicholls State on Nov. 14.

Colorado visits Moody Coliseum on Nov. 18 for an 8 p.m. tip. The Mustangs first road trip of the season is to the San Diego Classic, where SMU will have neutral site matchups with Toledo on Nov. 24 and Harvard on the 25th. SMU closes out November hosting Baylor on Nov. 30.

December begins with the Mustangs hosting Arkansas Pine Bluff on Dec. 4. Next, SMU heads to Ruston to face Louisiana Tech on Dec. 14, before returning home to close out its non-conference slate with back-to-back games in Moody Coliseum. SMU hosts Sam Houston State on Dec. 18 and Air Force on the 21st.
American Athletic Conference play begins on Dec. 29. The 2023-24 schedule matrix is based off an 18-game league schedule for this season. In this model each team plays five of its 13 opponents twice, and the other eight opponents once each, four at home and four away.

Charlotte, Florida Atlantic, Temple, and UTSA will visit Moody Coliseum, while SMU will travel for matchups at UAB, Tulane, Tulsa and Wichita State. SMU will face East Carolina, Memphis, North Texas, Rice and South Florida twice.

SMU finished the 2022-23 season with a 17-13 record. SMU went 13-2 at Moody Coliseum, including a program-record 10-game home winning streak. Savannah Wilkinson, Jasmine Smith and Ella Brow each earned All-American Athletic Conference honors. The Mustangs made the WNIT for the second straight season, earning postseason bid in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2014 and 2015.
