FAU won a close game in Denton last night against UNT. The mean green will be another tough out in the AAC Tourney as they are back to full strength again. When we beat them in Moody they were without 2 of their top 4 leading scorers.

While USF and FAU have to be the favorites, I could see any of the rest of the top 7 seeds upsetting those teams and earning the auto bid from the American. Should be a great event this year

Meanwhile, in a meaningless game for them USF lost @ Tulsa 76-70 and shot only 4-23 from three. Not the way they want to come into the tourney next week but a sign that anything can happen

Losing to UTSA and needing overtime to beat ECU at home doesn’t bode well for the boys today or in the conference tournament. You are correct that anything can happen, so here’s hoping.

Made it to B’Ham last night…lots of cool entertainment districts around town as we hung out in the Mountain Brook area - very nice…early lunch planned as our “army of two” is SMU @ UAB bound - big test today. Have this feeling that one of the bigs AND Phelps will go off today. Mustangs by 7.

A$M off to a fast start in their semi-final game vs Florida. Wade Taylor scores 11 of the Aggie$ 1st 15 points and they lead 15-10 five minutes into that game. Will always wonder if Taylor would have stayed home to play for SMU if LB or Pitino had been recruiting him?
