Wisconsin was able to make this a half court game and that's our weakness. Bigs are just not a part of our offense

The team plays hard but they aren’t refined. They played sloppy and scrappy. The three kept us in the game. Our bigs are frauds.

I don’t mind the style of play but we need to recruit better bigs.

Wisconsin with a 9 rebound advantage. Tyreek Smith might be our best FT shooter!

Yo where the heck is Xavier Foster. Try playing him with 4 guards?!

Ronald McDonald won the game for them. If our guys had made those first half missed layups maybe they would have won

Williamson’s the guy you get paired with at the inter-club, who looks fantastic on the range, but starts double, double, triple…zero game when it matters. He MUST be a practice stud, otherwise, I don’t get it…HUGE liability tonight and probably one of the 2-3 reasons why we lost.

This Wisconsin team isn’t very good. You can tell SMU tries but just not enough talent.

I'm guessing he's one of the bigs that's just a step too slow to play with this group. This team is much quicker than last year's team thanks to the additions of Edwards and Harris on the perimeter. Would like to see our bigs get more touches in our half court offense because most teams we play are going to know not to run with us.

Their strength is our weakness. Wisconsin, like A&M wants to take away the paint and they were able to do that. We might have struggled against Virginia...another team that likes to play slow low scoring games. Our D was not as stifling late in the game after Wisconsin was able to turn this into a half court game and made enough shots to get back on D before we could run the court

Wisconsin beat us on the boards, we had 15 turnovers and didn't make threes in the 2nd half after being on fire in that 1st half. Zhuric's 3 steals were the only steals by SMU last night which is a little unusual as well. Harris and Edwards usually contribute a steal or two and our bigs have been more disruptive than they were last night

Interesting watch last night. Wisconsin has a lot going for it especially inside which hurt us in the end. After watching the Badgers dismantle the #24 UVA I came away pretty optimistic for us.

I'm not sold on the coaching staff. I hope they prove me wrong the rest of the way but when you shoot as well as we did and still lose it is very disappointing.

mxc- totally agree. I hope if we need to make a change they will do it instead of dragging things on like they did with jank.
