He probably found out that he was not a frontrunner for the job. Expect several more coaches by Wednesday to do the same thing.

Haith was a legit candidate being from the UT staff. Much more viable than Wojcik or Treloar it seems to me. I think this decision has to come down to Norm Roberts vs. Jimmy Tubbs. Roberts is a quality guy who has recruited Texas. Tubbs is just a better fit at this point in time.

Hoop Fan, who do you think the next HC should be? Hmmmmmmmmm.

I think Wojcik, Reveno, Tubbs or Roberts would do a terrific job as SMU's HC. I know your heart is set on Tubbs, but if it's not him give the new HC a chance.

My mind is set on Tubbs, not my heart. This is not an emotional thing at all. Like I said, I don't know Tubbs and he doesn't know me.
