Zhuric already in double figures with 11. SMU with 5 offensive boards on 11 missed FGs and with 6 assists vs only one turnover. Playing well so far and haven't let up like they did against Temple

Chuck Harris throws alley-oop to Jalen Smith, who seemingly almost jumped over Tulsa guard Cobe Williams, who sort of backed under Smith, pushing him further away from the rim. Smith bobbled the pass, regrouped while still hovering somewhere in the jet stream and threw it down through the rim from several feet away. Incredible play by Smith.

Looked like he could have taken a nasty fall but it ended well!

Phelps with a great play on the defensive end — clean steal and a breakaway, and when he had the ball knocked away, he chased it down, dove into the first row and saved it to Edwards, who missed the shot but then canned a pair of free throws

35-20

Tyreek with early fould trouble and now limps off. Really thin in the post today. Looks like Mo Njie will have to get more minutes to see if he can contribute today

Tyreek Smith is not on the bench — looks like he headed in early to the locker room for treatment. Stay tuned.

Scary sight: Zhuric Phelps drives to his left at the top of the key, lets go of the ball and drops to the ground, grabbing his left knee. Rob Lanier first on the floor to check on him. He's up and walking off, escorted by — but not leaning on — trainers. Straight to the locker room with 1:16 to go in the half.
