Maya Chandler grabbed a season-high eight rebounds to add to her seven points and three assists. Amirah Abdur-Rahim turned in four points, five boards, three assists, two blocks, and a steal. T.K. Embry assisted Chandler, who made a three-pointer to tie the game at 61 with a little over a minute remaining in overtime. The Bulls used free throws and a three to go up five points with 20 seconds left and seal the victory.

Perry nailed a corner three to tie the game at 54 with 58 seconds left. Young finished at the rim to give the Mustangs the lead with 30 seconds remaining. The game went to overtime after the Bulls scored on the next possession to tie the game and Young's last-second three was unsuccessful at the buzzer.

Back-to-back buckets from Young and one from Chandler sparked six straight, bringing the Mustangs within one and forcing a South Florida timeout. USF made eight out of its last nine shots to take a 47-41 lead heading to the fourth.

Bradley beat the second-quarter buzzer to extend SMU's lead to eight at the half. SMU held USF without a field goal for over four minutes in the opening period. The Mustangs made four out of their last five shots to take a 17-12 lead into the second.
