Looking at the box score this morning a couple of things jumped out at me. Zhuric goes 2-16 including 1-8 from three and obviously he had a horrible shooting night...BUT he hit the critical three to get the game to OT and goes 10-10 from the FT line! The other thing was our 21-11 advantage on 2nd chance points with Keon and Tyreek each pulling down 5 offensive rebounds.

I saw a statistic that Phelps has the worst 3 point percentage in the nation for anyone attempting 100 or more threes and from watching all the games, I can certainly believe that. He did hit the big one to tie the game, but also killed what little momentum we had gained from time to time in the game by launching up a brick from the 3 point line. He really needs to quit shooting those.

So many missed layups as well, I almost broke my TV several times, then all I could do was laugh each time a point blank shot rolled off the rim. But hey, we won, and set up a potential chance to get a top 4 seed, just need Memphis and/or Charlotte to cooperate with a loss on Saturday.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

When asked about our guys missing 18 shots in a row including so many layups Coach Lanier also said he laughed...obviously not because it was funny but I think a lot of us (including me) were laughing at that point because what we were watching was just so unbelievably ridiculous.
