ESPN advertises "Anything can happen" and sure enough Temple upsets FAU 74-73 to advance to the championship game against UAB tomorrow

With either Temple or UAB making the NCAA Tournament, I think this match up virtually guarantees SMU's season is over. FAU is probably the only AAC team with a chance of getting an at large bid and this puts USF among other AAC teams more deserving of the NIT than SMU.
