Doubt he will have the pony but I bet he is in red and blue.

Top 10 would means some extra bonuses for him.

Looks like he will have an admirable finish of a tie for 15th.

He is far from it and is running out of tournaments and sponsors exemptions. Honestly it's not the end of the world to spend a year on the Web and get into some big tourneys via sponsor. Not everyone can do what Spieth did. In fact I think only a couple have gone straight to the tour in the past 30 years.

Got to watch his entire round today since he was paired with Day. The rookie matched #1 on many shots of the tee and even to get on the green. However he had some really bad shots too. Still fun to watch him through 18. Good poise but also got rattled a little. I think like everyone else that he has a long career ahead of him.

Someone explain what needs to happen at this point form him to get his card. I know he needs like 450 fed ex points and this T 15 at the U.S. open has to be a big boost. Isn't it also a total dollar winnings threshold ? Lessor of kind of deal?

Last year you needed to earn $850k to finish top 125, that's what I was getting at. That's the easiest way to secure a card; you can also win a tournament (putting your earnings high enough anyway, likely); there is also a sort of revised Q school.

You cannot earn FedEx points if you aren't already exempt (i.e. have a tour card). If you become exempt/earn your card, the points do come in retroactively. This is what happened to Jordan after he won the John Deere and made him eligible for the playoffs.

He currently sits at 144 on the money list but is almost out of sponsors exemptions for the year. He needs a really good finish this week.

You can do it!!!!
