SMU men leap to #7 in NSCAA/adidas national soccer poll
Mustangs open five-game homestand Friday

DALLAS( SMU) - The SMU men's soccer team jumped up to the seventh spot in the nation, according to this week's NSCAA/adidas national poll released Tuesday. The Mustangs (7-3, 2-0 MVC) are ranked 13th in the Soccer America poll, 13th in the College Soccer News.com poll, and 12th in the Soccer Times.com Coaches' poll. SMU is tied for the seventh position with Cal.

SMU finally returns to Westcott Field for the first of five consecutive home games beginning on Friday, October 8 with a contest vs. Vanderbilt (6-3-1, 2-0 MVC). Kick-off is approximately 8:15 p.m. since it will follow the game between the SMU women and Hawaii, which starts at 6:00 p.m.

Mustang women #21 in latest NSCAA/adidas national soccer poll
SMU to play two home games this weekend

DALLAS (SMU) - After posting a 1-0-1 record this past weekend, the SMU women's soccer team holds the #21 position in this week's NSCAA/adidas national poll, released Tuesday. SMU (6-2-2, 1-0-1 WAC) is also ranked 25th in the Soccer Times.com poll.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the jumps/drops in the rankings have been huge this year? Seems like one loss drops a team 10 spots, and a couple of wins can push a team up 8-10 spots. I don't remember such drastic movement in years past.
