Interesting footnote about Dallas Co. DA Bill Hill

Graduated from Garland High School, where he was president of his sophomore, junior and senior classes. Inducted into the Garland Sports Hall of Fame. As a senior, recorded the fastest time in the nation in the 220-yard dash. Attended Southern Methodist University and was captain of the 1963-64 nationally ranked track team. He was a member of relay teams that set school records in the sprint, mile, 880-yard and sprint medley. The team's record in the 880-yard relay stood into the 1980s. Graduated from the SMU law school in 1967.
