DALLAS (SMU/C-USA) - SMU golfer Lacey Jones has been named Conference USA Golfer of the Week, the league announced today. It marks the second time in her career that Jones has won the honor, as she was also recognized once last season.
Jones finished second at the Mercedes-Benz Women's Championship at the Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn., after carding a 3-over par
216 (67-73-76). Jones blistered the course in round one, shooting an amazing 67 including a 31 on the front nine. She led the team to a ninth-place finish in the loaded 15-team field.
