Does not mean much unless you can win the big games at the dance. We have fallen somewhat short in this regard. I hope we can win it all with this group.

We've gotten close, and I would much rather have hope at the end of every season that this could finally be the year we go all the way, then to hope that this is the year we finally make the cut for the tournament.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

How is Tulsa ranked? Anyone who saw the Mi Cocina Classic last weekend knows they got very lucky to beat Georgetown and was completely outclassed by Virginia. SMU will destroy that team, which isn't as good as it was last year.

Big weekend for the Ponies this weekend in New Mexico. Beating UC-Santa Barbara won't make up for the season-ending loss last year, but it will be a good step for the guys as they roll toward NCAA home-field advantage.

Good home weekend for the women, too -- Arizona State tonight and Texas Tech Sunday afternoon.

yeah, I was thinking the same thing about Tulsa. I didn't see them against Georgetown, but I did catch the second half against Virginia on the rainy day. Tulsa looked horrible in that game.

and on our front, beat UCSB tonight! go Stangs!

WildHorse and horseshoe hilltop are right -- Tulsa's weak. Their win over Georgetown was one of those games where the lesser team scored and then hung on for dear life, packing the entire team in front of its own goal.

Double dammit -- women lost to Arizona State tonight, 4-1.
Rise up, Mustang Nation!
Go SMU!
