Mustang Lacrosse will take on Vanderbilt this Friday at the SMU intramural fields across from the fraternity houses at 7:30pm. Last Friday, about 250 fans showed up, making for an unusual rowdy crowd.

Leading scorers for the Mustangs through two games this year are:
18 Taylor Manning: 5G, 1A
20 Andrew Garcia: 4G, 1A
4 Jono Hiemenz: 4G, 1A
12 Wil Danielson: 4G, 0A
9 Michael Carrington: 3G, 2A
14 Mike Taylor: 3G, 0A
24 Sam Sawyer: 1G, 3A

Game tonight. Come out. Its going to be decent weather. Vandy has a lot of kids from the same traditional lax powerhouse areas as SMU. Should be a good one.

SMU won the game 8 to 7! Vandy has a great team. They get very similar players as we do. Lots of East Coast kids that want to have the college experience, but love lacrosse too much to give it up completely. SMU really played well together and were playing two freshman at close defense virtually the entire game. Ponies are on track! They should get some love for top 25 votes after this win.

I don't know but he is a lacrosse stud.

Big weekend next weekend for SMU.

Travel to Austin to take on the mighty Longhorns and a very good Texas State squad. Let's ride that Vanderbilt momentum!

Oh yah, Vandy beat Baylor (divisional foe) 20-9

We are due and they can be beat, especially at home. Good luck and I know you will have the defense ready. Check 'em.
