LAX in ATHENS

Postby MustangLaxer » Tue Mar 25, 2008 10:46 am

Men's Lacrosse will travel Thursday to SELC country to play:

At Ole Miss
VS Georgia Tech @ Athens
At #16 UGA

Laxpower ranks GTech and UGA ahead of SMU, but there is no reason not to expect a couple of upsets here.

Minnesota was ranked ahead of SMU, and the mustangs tore them apart before putting in the reserves in the 4th. A clean sweep will mean a top 25 ranking for SMU.

Loss to GTech 7-9. More importantly we lost our starting goalie with a fractured shin and a top middie to an ACL

You could tell from his comments that there is a brotherhood mentality among the lacrosse teams.

that is definitely something everyone can take away from the rugby guys. play a competitive, physical game and then go out and party with the other team like they are your best friends. very cool.
