SMU Equestrian Hosts Rival TCU On Saturday At 10 a.m.

SMU Holds 2-0 All-Time Lead Against TCU

DALLAS, Texas. (SMU) --- The SMU Equestrian team hosts rival TCU at the Park Lane Equestrian Center on Saturday at 10 a.m. The Mustangs hold a 2-0 all-time series lead including a 6-5 win at TCU's Fieldstone Park on Nov. 10.

The Mustangs will have Kristen Collins, Lauren Hester, Maia VanDyke, and Katherine Wilson ride in both the equitation over fences and equitation on the flat. Erica Buie and Lauren Lieberman will round out the fences phase for the Mustangs while Renee DeLisse and Melissa Kowalchik will hold the final two spots in the flat portion.

In the last meeting, SMU scored four of their six points in the fences phase. Wilson was the MVP in fences with a high score of 84. Lieberman and Collins are the others in this week's lineup that scored in the fences portion of that meet. Delisse is the lone returning winner from the flat contest against TCU, although Collins fell despite having the Mustangs high score of 78.75.

SMU is 2-4 on the season entering the final meet of the regular season. The Ponies next competition will be at the Varsity Equestrian National Championships from April 17-19 at the Heart of Texas Fair Complex in Waco, Texas.
