So who are our biggest challenges in the conference this year: Tulsa? Kentucky? South Carolina?

If Tulsa doesn't get healthy - they were missing five starters, including three first-team All-Conference USA guys from last year during the recent tournament at SMU - they might finish dead last. Kentucky is racking up big stats by playing non-opponents, but they're pretty good. South Carolina is good. UAB is traditionally very good (they beat us a couple of years ago when we were No. 1). UCF is a little disorganized, but big and very athletic, and can cause problems.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
