OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (SMU) - The Mustangs won three races at the Oklahoma University Invitational in Oklahoma City, Okla., this weekend, finishing fifth overall.

The Mustangs were swept by Kansas in the Saturday morning session, but fell in two of the three races against the Jayhawks by a combined 10 seconds. Saturday afternoon, Oklahoma took three from the Mustangs, but again SMU was mere seconds from taking a win.

SMU won two of three races in the early session Sunday, getting edged out by Tulsa's lightweight 8 by just over three seconds before beating Creighton twice. The Mustangs were again shutout in the afternoon session, losing three to overall champion San Diego.

The Mustangs will race against Louisville Tuesday in Austin, Texas before traveling to San Diego for the San Diego Crew Classic on March 27 and 28.
