Women's Soccer Draws Tulsa 1-1 On Senior Night
Scovill scores goal with eight seconds remaining in regulation

DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU women's soccer team played to a 1-1 tie with Tulsa Thursday night at Westcott Field. Sophomore forward Kenzie Scovill scored the lone Mustang goal. With the draw, SMU finishes the regular season with an 11-6-3 overall record and a 6-4-1 mark in Conference USA action.
Scovill tallied her second goal of the season when she headed in a ball from Shelby Hartweck with just eight seconds remaining in regulation.
Goalkeeper Courtney Webb was strong in net for the Mustangs, making six saves on the night. Webb had many spectacular stops including a diving save in the 60th minute and a bullet she punched up over the crossbar in the 66th minute of play.
Tulsa tallied its goal in just the fourth minute when Stephanie Aitken fired a shot from 18 yards out in to the far upper 90 for a 1-0 lead.
The Mustangs head to Orlando to compete in the Conference USA tournament Nov. 3-7.
