Caitlin Adair Selected To First Team CoSIDA Academic All-District

DALLAS (SMU) --- SMU middle blocker Caitlin Adair was named to the First Team CoSIDA Academic All-District on Friday for District 6. As a first team selection, Adair, a psychology major, will advance to the national ballot for ESPN Academic All-America consideration.

Adair, a senior from Austin, Texas, earned the honor due to her strong academic profile. She has earned C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and the C-USA Commissioner's Medal each semester at SMU.

On the court, Adair averages 1.48 kills and 1.06 blocks per set this season and notched 15 kills on 34 attempts in win at Baylor. Adair opened her senior season with season-high 10 blocks against Butler.

Adair becomes the first athlete in SMU volleyball history to earn the distinction.
