Equestrian - Pettersen ranked No. 2 in the country!
Posted: Fri Feb 25, 2011 11:08 amAs reported on the official athletics web site yesterday, Jordyn Pettersen is now ranked #2 in the country over fences! She is 9-1 on the season and also has four MVP honors which tied for the most in the country over fences. Pettersen is also just a Junior, so she will have another full season to develop on The Hilltop.
It's always nice to be reminded of some of the other great athletes at SMU in the non-revenue sports.
It was nice to see SMU get a big win last week (7-1 over Sacred Heart) even though we split the weekend with a loss to Baylor. After a rough start to the season, things appear to be looking up for the equestrian team!
