VIDEO: C-USA men's soccer championship preview

The SMU men's soccer team begins the postseason Wednesday when the Mustangs take on Marshall in the first round of the Conference USA Championship in Tulsa, Okla. PonyFans.com visited with assistant coach Phil Wolf, defender Diogo de Almeida, midfielders Arthur Ivo and Robbie Derschang, and forward Juan Castillo to discuss how the team is playing as the postseason starts, how this year's team is different from the 2010 SMU team that reached the NCAA quarterfinals and what to expect from Marshall (which SMU tied in early October) in the first round of the C-USA Championship.

Do the Ponies have to win today to get into the NCAA Tournament? How many C-USA teams will make it?

Most of the forecasts have four C-USA teams making it. Occasionally you will see five.

We should definitely be in. Today is very likely for a bye into the second round.
