Final stats from the SMU game while the UCF-UAB game finishes up...

Shots: SMU 6, SC 13
SOG: SMU 3, SC 4
Corners: SMU 4, SC 5
Fouls: SMU 13, SC 11
Yellows: SMU 1, SC 0

Obviously, SC generated a ton of offense in the second half. SMU certainly appeared to be sitting on it, although a lot of it was honestly dictated by the Mustangs being forced to just clear it after getting any control of the ball in our defensive end. As mentioned earlier, Ibarra was huge today no matter what any of the stats might say.

UAB holds on for the 1-0 win over UCF.

So it will be SMU vs. UAB for the C-USA Championship Sunday at 1pm on CBS Sports College!

After 14 goals in the two games Wednesday things tightened up tonight with only two goals in the two games.

UAB defeated SMU 1-0 at Westcott late in the season. It will be another tough challenge against their defense and keeper Sunday. UCF put 11 shots on goal tonight!

Hopefully the SMU team will get some good rest tonight and some good regen in tomorrow. Sunday will be the tough one for us with it being our third match in five days. We did get some decent player rotation in tonight so hopefully that saved the legs a bit at least.

And for a preview of the future, the Big East final will be played tomorrow on the same channel right before SMU's game.
