Volleyball: SMU vs. UCF/USF
Posted: Wed Sep 24, 2014 7:36 pmSMU (11-1) starts play in The American this weekend hosting UCF Friday night and USF Sunday afternoon at Moody Coliseum.
Talk about a huge start in conference play. Last season, SMU finished second, UCF finished third, and USF finished fourth in The American.
The UCF (7-5) match is at 7pm Friday and the USF (6-6) match is Sunday at 1pm.
The volleyball team has been the crown jewel of the fall sports so far, and a strong start in conference play against these two teams will get the Mustangs off to a nice beginning on the quest to win The American and get an NCAA Tournament berth.
