Colt Knost 2016 season

Colt was the only one of our 3 SMU PGA players to make the cut in Charlotte. He's made all but one cut in the tournaments he's played in 2016 and earned another $22k this past week.

Unfortunately he's like 83 on the money list.

That's enough to stay alive another year but doesn't get you into the big boy tourneys.

Colt will be our only representative this week at The Players. He hasn't played very well at Sawgrass in the past, but this is the week he needs to keep his streak (of making cuts) alive because of the prize money these guys are playing for in this event. I'm disappointed I won't be making the trip down this year. I've only missed The Players 3 times in the last 20 years since I moved to Charleston, but my daughter delivered a baby girl last week and that has caused a change in our travel plans. Imagine that!

Colt birdied his last 2 holes today to finish at even par. Will have to play well tomorrow as he currently stands below the cut line.
