off to a good start today...was 2 under thru 12 and moving up on leaderboard

oh well...Kelly finished one over for the day and now stands at minus 2 for the tourney which has him T-69th with several others. Still has a chance of playing tomorrow and moving up the food chain, depending on how others fare today

Guess he'll be joining the Web.com qualifying tournaments hoping to get exempt that way.

4 under opening round in Columbus and right up there with leaders. Needs to finish strong and pick up a win this week!

plus 3 today to fall 7 shots off the lead and T-44. Will have to have a great weekend to win this tourney in Columbus

Kelly shoots 3 under today to get right back in it. He's currently 4 shots off the lead but the leaders are still on the course so gap could widen

and the gap widened significantly. Kelly comes into final round T-19 and 9 shots off the lead. Would take a course record round to have any shot at this win in Columbus

Kelly shoots a final round 4 under 67 to finish 8 under and T-5th. He earned $35k for his efforts but didn't get that much needed win, finishing 4 shots off the lead

At least he got the much needed earnings. With the $35,125 check he moves into 19th place. Now he simply needs to do well at the Tour Championship and he is back on the PGA Tour.

Earned his card due to Web.com finals being cancelled. Congrats!

From what I read he had it in the bag as the web.com tour said the top 16 were pretty much assured their spots and he was 16th, but great news nonetheless! It will be fun to have 3 alums on the pga tour next season. Hopefully one of them can win a tournament next season.

He was tied 19th, coincidentally with UT/Lakewood CC golfer and HP native Cody Gribble.
