Might as well start a thread for Bryson. Everyone knows how well he played in the Masters but now that he's playing as a professional and was one of the players who was able to finish round one under par at The Heritage, let's see if he can use his limited sponsor exemptions to earn a spot on the tour. Needs a top 10 finish in one of the tourneys he will compete in to earn another week's invite.

Bryson shoots -2 and sits at -3 after 2nd round. Currently T-8th and only 3 shots off the lead headed to weekend play at The Heritage

Bryson stumbles to his 1st over par round as a professional today, shooting one over to finish round three at -2 which has been T-13th. Needs a strong round tomorrow and a top 10 finish to increase the number of tournaments he can play in towards earning his card for next year.

Bryson just missed a crucial birdie putt on 16 that could have pulled him to within 2 shots of the lead and then missed the green on the par 3 17th. He's missed a lot of very close putts this week but is leading the field in "greens in regulation". Has a really good chance of finishing in the top 10 which earns him another invitation. Let's see how well he can finish under some serious pressure.

He'll earn around $225k if he stays T5. Pretty solid debut. Getting in next week without using an exemption is also a bonus.

Not a bad first weekend of being a paid employee - $260K.

Yeah Kokrak doubled 18 and earned Bryson another 35k. $550k more and he will likely get his card. He's got 11 more events to do it.

I really feel like he is primed to win one soon. I assume he is not eligible for the British. If not sooner, It would be great for him to win the Farmers if it is still the last one before, and get on the waiting jet to go play

Yeah, he has to play his way into the two opens, or try and go through the qualifiers.

The great thing is the media seems to love him. He's a very interesting, smart and likeable guy. Plus, he's really good at the golf.
