We have all three of our horses teeing off this week in Irving.

Bryson should be well rested and tuned up. Kelly is in need of a good finish to gain some spots on the money list. Colt is playing his best golf in years. All of them are very familiar with the course, which looks to be in good condition after heavy morning rains tomorrow.

When you go wear your SMU stuff - everyone else out there represents. These guys need to see the support.

I can't make it. Wear your gear and cheer the boys on.

Bryson 4 under in round one - in the thick of it. Come out tomorrow with gear!

Kelly had a decent day, too. One ahead of Colt. Scores should be really low tomorrow.

Bryson hit it in the water on his last hole and right now is one shot off the cut.

Bryson missed the cut by one shot finishing at minus one. Colt is at minus one early and Kelly at even par also early. Guys will need to finish strong to represent the Mustangs this weekend.

Colt ended up as the leader in the Clubhouse for awhile at the end with a 13 under. 2 shots off the win. Great finish with a 65. Kelly Kraft was -8 for the tourney and won a nice check.

Kraft earned $17k and Knost $265k. Knost is now all but guaranteed his full card next year and sits at 39 in FedEx, pretty awesome start to the year. Kelly just needs to keep on keeping on. Bryson is struggling to adjust to the big time. The courses are set up so much harder than anything they've ever seen.

Second cut he missed since going pro by just one stroke. He just needs to keep at it and not over think it.

I wore a flat cap and SMU golf shirt out on Friday. Will do the same this Saturday so I hope ole Bryson makes the cut this weekend.

I'm going out on Thursday. Will be sporting the red and blue.

I just think Bryson would do well without the hype surrounding him. He needs a year to adjust to the rigors of the pro schedule. It took Kelly three years, and this is Colt's best season in his career.

Meanwhile, in the world of SMU golf, both Bryson and Colt are positioned to make the cut if they handle their business properly today.

Molder, who is leading is my favorite golfer behind the ponies being he is from an area about 20 miles up the road from me.

Well...Bryson just had two bad holes and sits at +2 poised to get cut.
