PROVIDENCE, R.I. (The American/SMU) – SMU women's golfer Lindsey McCurdy was named the American Athletic Conference Women's Golf Player of the Week, league officials announced Wednesday.

The senior finished in a three-way tie for third place, carding a 4-under 212, to lead the Mustangs at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational March 14 and 15 in Hawai'i. McCurdy shot par or better each round to lead SMU, including a pair of 70s in the opening round and Tuesday's final round.
