Wow, as someone who liked following our Olympic Sports, I am stunned at the apparent downward spiral of these teams. What's going on? Just a bad year, coaches, recruiting, what? Outside of Volleyball and Cross Country, it seems like we are headed in the wrong direction. Not even swimming, our forte In past years, is winning championships. Sad.

What all are you considering Olympic sports?

Women's soccer is on the up for one.

Olympic sports are a bit hard to follow because it seems like SMU tries to be very hush hush when things aren't going awesome. Like I didn't even know Tennis just had conference and equestrian just had the NCEA tournament and golf champs are this week & next until I plowed through each team's schedule online.

Well nothing is posted on here. If teams were doing well there would be releases linked all over the Olympic Sports forum here. Twitter is a time sink for me.

You could set up a twitter account that follows only the SMU Olympic sports teams. They are all very active there.

Then what would he have to complain about??

We do need to expand our complaints beyond attendance, uniforms, the band, and the IPF.

Well women's golf made the NCAA tournament!

worthy of it's own thread...the men's team, not so much. Finishing 6th out of the 9 teams competing in AAC golf. Pretty sad

This was kind of a transition year for men's golf, right? Please?

I thought we had a couple guys who were supposed to be impact players right away but who never set foot on campus after we were hit with sanctions.

I believe our impact players are in the 2017 and 2018 recruiting classes.

Right. I know we have a couple great recruits inked for the next two years.

Men's tennis made the NCAA as well!!!
